LOS ANGELES - October 1, 2004 - After being at the forefront of vascular surgery in Southern California for over 40 years, the members of Vascular Surgery Associates are again venturing into new territory with the launch of VascularSurg.com.
With such a long history of providing outstanding clinical care to Southern California, VSA needed a technology partner that would reflect that tradition online. They ultimately selected DreamBox to craft a site that would arrange a large amount of information in a logical and informative manner while maintaining a professional look and feel. This included integrating video clips and providing resources for visiting patients.
"VascularSurg.com seemed like a fairly straightforward project at the onset because no e-commerce capability was required," explains Danielle Takata, Vice President, Creative Media at DreamBox. "However, the history of this association, the reputations of its members, and the complex nature of much of the content meant there was even greater emphasis on the design and artistic elements of the site." The product of this emphasis was a supremely clean layout with content-packed pages covering the association's wide spectrum of practice areas.
VascularSurg.com also includes such conveniences as downloadable patient forms and integration with MapQuest.com for locating and getting directions to the association's offices.
