Web Site for New York's popular Haru Sushi restaurants goes live
MIAMI (February 6, 2002) - Benihana Inc. announces the launch of a new Web site for its Haru restaurants in Manhattan, www.harusushi.com, which highlights the Japanese fusion cuisine and sushi that has made the line of restaurants a favorite among New York sushi enthusiasts for years.
Haru is known for serving extremely large portions of fresh sushi, sashimi, tempura, and a number of sushi rolls unique to the restaurant. Web users can now download a complete listing of Haru's menu, including links to appetizers, soups and salads, lunch and sushi specials, sushi entrees, sushi and sashimi, handrolls, spirits and specialty drinks.
"The Haru Web site reflects the Japanese simplicity of the restaurants, making it an easy-to- navigate, useful tool as guests plan make lunch or dinner plans," says Kevin Aoki, vice president of marketing for Haru.
The site also provides information specific to each Haru restaurant, including hours of operation, location and details about the atmosphere and décor. In addition, visitors to the site can purchase Haru gift certificates in $25 and $50 denominations.
DreamBox Creations, the company that developed the Haru site, is also updating the current Benihana and Doraku Web sites, which will be re-launched later this year.
