1926 the International Association
of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials
(better known as IAPMO) has
been the world-wide leader in
the development of plumbing
codes and product standards
across hundreds of jurisdictions.
IAPMO
came to DreamBox looking for
a long-term partner in the
development of an integrated
system capable of pulling
data from both their internal
accounting software (Best
Software's MAS90) and a separate
Microsoft SQL Server database
(to be designed). The system
is focused on ease of use
and advanced functionality
- allowing for the generation
of real-time searches across
all database fields and the
exporting of data to third
party products such as Microsoft
Word.
Beyond
this system, DreamBox has
developed numerous public
online applications for IAPMO
including their 'Standards
Store' - featuring online
electronic downloads; and
their 'Product Listing Directory'
- a resource for
thousands of individuals within
the construction industry
to verify in real-time the
compliance of prospective-products.
